Lovable Happy Treasures was founded in 2015 in Miami, Florida — a small, women-owned beauty studio devoted to the slow art of taking care of oneself.
When Shabina Dharamsi began blending her first balm in her Miami kitchen, she had no business plan. Only a stubborn conviction: that women deserved beauty products which felt as considered as a private letter — products with restraint, weight and grace.
Nearly a decade later, that conviction is still the only rule. Every Lovable Happy Treasures formula begins on a marble counter in our small Miami atelier, where ingredients are weighed by hand and finished products are inspected one bottle at a time. We grow slowly — and on purpose.
We are women-owned, family-run, and entirely independent. We answer only to the woman who opens the box.
Our formulas are free from parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oils and synthetic dyes. We disclose the full ingredient list on every product page, in plain language, with the function of each ingredient noted. We will never include a "fragrance" line item without naming what is inside it.
Lovable Happy Treasures is certified cruelty-free. No raw material in our supply chain has been tested on animals, at any stage, by us or by any vendor we partner with. We are a Leaping Bunny-aligned house and re-audit our supply chain annually.
Every product is produced in batches of fewer than 800 units in our Miami facility. This is slower and more expensive than industrial production — but it allows our chemists to inspect color, texture and scent on every batch, and it allows us to keep our formulas alive without preservatives we would not use on ourselves.
Our glass is recyclable. Our boxes are FSC-certified paper, printed with vegetable inks. Our shipping mailers are made from 100% recycled cardboard. We are not perfect, and we will not pretend to be — but every season we publish what we have changed.
When you write to us, a person in Miami writes back — usually within a few hours, often the same person who packaged your order. We do not use automated reply bots. We do not outsource our care.

2015. Lovable Happy Treasures is founded in Miami, Florida. The first three products — a rose serum, a peony body oil and a single hand cream — are sold out of a small studio on Coral Way. The first 200 customers come entirely by word of mouth.
2017. The brand opens its first online storefront. The Maison Gift Edit launches in time for the winter holidays and becomes the bestselling product of the year.
2019. We become certified cruelty-free. Our facility moves into its current Miami atelier on 141 Terrace.
2021. We pass 25,000 customers across the United States, Canada and the European Union. The Velvet Night Cream wins a small but proud editor's award from a beauty trade publication.
2023. We launch our fragrance category — three personal scents composed in collaboration with an independent Grasse-trained perfumer.
Today. We are a team of nine, all women, working out of one building in Miami. We answer our own emails, we pack our own boxes, and we still smell every batch before it leaves the door.
